Antdony`s Italian Restaurant in Bryson City

Staff was very friendly. Comfortable atmosphere. Delicious food.

Food was ok, but service was lacking, drinks sat empty, forgot dressing for my salad, wife had a salad as her meal, didn't arrive until at least 10 minutes after everyone else had their food. Just to many mistakes. Maybe it was an off day.

Waited for 30 minutes with a bunch of open tables. Asked the host how much longer and she couldn’t care less. We left and went over to Nathanala brewery and had a great time.

After spending all day at lake Fontana we went to Anthony's because I told my boyfriend they have the best pizza and he's never eat there. Walking in they asked if we have masks, we didn't. They offered to sell us one for $1 each to even be seated. To profit off of a pandemic is absurd and they will NEVER have my business again!

The food here was fantastic! The Beet and Goat Cheese Gocce was really excellent. If you want a decent pasta that isn't too heavy and is very delicious, this is your choice. The sauce, pasta and tastes were all well balanced.For the more straight forward, the calzone is very good too. I decided on the cheese calzone and was not disappointed The staff was very friendly, with that expected southern charm. I highly recommend trying Anthony's out for a meal.

Food was good! At first our order got a but burned om the crust so when they brought it out to us, they immediately said they already had a replacement one in. Very polite and super generous. Would definitely reccomend and eat here again!

Atmosphere was pretty nice. Waitress was nice but not too attentive. She walked away when I was getting ready to order a beer. I asked for Ziti and she came out with spaghetti and just said we have no ziti. She never came back to check on us during our meal. Food was fair for an Italian restaurant. The company I was with made up for everything else. Let's just say covid was to blame. I also forgot to mention that the meatballs had more sauce on them than the spaghetti. For an italian restaurant that was pretty bad.

Besides the awesome decorations and the friendly staff the food was really yummy!

Pretty good restaurant located in Bryson City, NC. One advantage is that there is a separate parking lot for this restaurant, so you do not have to find street parking. The staff was very friendly (unfortunately, the were understaffed the day we were there, so the meal took much longer than it should have). That being said, when the meal arrived, the food was very good (I had the bacon cheeseburger, my wife the salad with grilled chicken). Portions were good. The quality was excellent. So, I recommend this place, but they need to get their staffing issues resolved.

Had a great experience back on 2018-02-18! Extra large meat pizza was a monster. Would highly reccomend if you are in the area.

Went to Anthony’s for the first time ever last night and it was absolutely excellent! The hostess got us a great table with a bench, because we had 2 kids with us and 1 was very sleepy, fairly quickly! Our server was amazing and really went out of his way to take care of us....especially the tired and cranky kid. He recommended several menu items and we ordered from his recommendations and he was not wrong! The lobster gocce was cooked to perfection and the garlic consistency was just right. My friend had the chicken fettuccine and she says it’s some of the best she’s ever had! My only regret is that I didn’t get the servers name so you could all request him! He was great! And I do wish they would print their craft menus to go on the table so you don’t have to walk out to the front to look when choosing a beer. I’m sure that would become more tricky after a few. :) I highly recommend this restaurant!

We arrived here Friday while there was a wait but they had plenty of benches and areas to social distance which was really comforting. During our wait my children had to listen to some group claiming to be “locals” bashing the hosts about having to wear a mask. Honestly upset me to think this guy thought it was in the hand of the restaurant, if your local you know it’s a state wide order Sir. We waited about 20 minutes and were so glad cause it was worth it! Staff was friendly and were very diligent about safety during this pandemic. I almost wanted to apologize to the staff for a strangers behavior but they handlers it with class that we actually commented to our server about it. I suggest the hog wings (not on menu) and the margarita pizza was to die for!Thanks again to the staff and owners, people are jerks! Keep up the great work!

We ordered 2 burgers and an appetizer Then we waited and waited and waited. No one showed up to refill drinks or to see if we needed anything. We went inside after 45 minutes to see what was going on. Finally server returned and refilled our drinks and brought out the appetizer. Thirty minutes later, we went inside and asked to see the manager. Manager never showed. Our food did, and it was good. Only problem is that it wasn't what was ordered. At that point, we didn't care. We ate and just wanted out. All together, we were there about 2 hours, with one refill, no explanations and no apology. Will not visit again.

We stopped here as soon as we got into town after a 6 hour drive. Even though they were just about to close, they welcomed us in and treated us like regulars. The service was amazing!! We highly recommend this restaurant! Ask for Buck and you won’t be disappointed! He treated us like friends and gave us some awesome spots to try on our trip. We ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and a local tap beer and were beyond impressed!!! The food, the atmosphere and the service were impeccable!!! We will eat here each time we are in Bryson City! Do yourself a favor and go see Buck!!!

Great food, friendly staff. It's usually pretty busy but wait times are good considering. Food is well priced for the proportions and you can tell they care about their food and customers.

Visiting from Kalamazoo Michigan. Their pizza and fried mushrooms was a big hit. Highly recommended! Also great shrimp scampi and sandwiches.

We had a to go stromboli and calzone last fall and they were excellent. No problem with the service.Upon trying to patronize Anthony's this season, we found that the place was closed at 6p.. all of the outside tables were extremely dirty, so I can only assume they are open around the times that the train is running. By the next day when the train was running (for the first day of re-open since COVID), I found that Anthony's was open. That's annoying that the business appears to only cater to train riders.

I have never written a review but, we were so impressed with the atmosphere, our server Wilson who took amazing care of my wife and me. We ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger with onion rings that we split. He knew knowledge about local attractions and directions and gave us many great suggestions. If I could give him 6 stars we would! Can’t wait to come back next summer. Place was clean we saw everyone working using sanitizer and we witnessed many washing hands.... made us both feel safe. Many props to the owners that have taught their staff well. We completely felt comfortable eating there. We will be back!

The Kitchen Sink burger and wings were delicious! And try those zucchini fries! So Good! Service was friendly, but a little slow! Great restaurant!

The lounge area for 21 and up only is a real gem. Beautiful decor and the bartender was very smart about liquors. My mint mojito was probably the best I’ve had. She said she was new but could have fooled us... burgers were huge and the spinach dip was like AAMAZINGGG. Owner like lady stopped by to check on us and gave us some really great ideas for what to do in the area, which was great to know about the road to nowhere. Watched many people behind the bar constantly wash their hands and use toothpicks for our lime slices for our tequila and mojitos. Great bar selection and obviously great management... the Busser was a little slow cleaning our table but he seemed sweet and consistent about sanitizing even the arm rails of the stools. It was cool inside too cause the patio was hot when we arrived. We will be back next visit and bring our older kids. Would highly recommend

Great food. The pizza and burgers are delicious.

We ordered garlic knots and a pizza. The garlic knots were ok but lacked garlic flavor. The pizza was amazing and offered a lot of tastes. The service was amazing. The way they are handling the virus is great. Something I found interesting was that we were told to visit Anthony’s by a server at another local pizza place. It’s a pretty good place to eat and would be a great place to grab a quick bite.

This is some of THE BEST pizza around! We enjoy the atmosphere and people watching ad well!

We stoped there for dinner on our way home from a hike. The staff were very helpful and our waters was very attentive. Yeh food was great. I had pizza and my husband had the baked lasagna. We also enjoyed a craft beer overlooking the historical train station. It was a really nice evening before hitting the road again. I highly recommend this restaurant and bar.

Do not go here. We waited over 45 minutes for burgers that never came out. After 25 mins I asked another waiter where the food was because our original waiter was m.i.a. she never came back. After 35 mins I got up, found our original waiter and asked for our food. He said he took it to the wrong table aNd they ate it. He never checked on us and only told me this because we went looking for him. We waited 10 more minutes as he said they were remaking it. The food never came. We asked aGain and he told us it would be a while longer. Uh... No. The place was slow. No excuses. Poor service. Poor recovery and we leave after an hour with no lunch

Food was fine. Waitress was nice. Boy at front desk as rude as can be. We were passing through on our way to Biltmore in Ashville. We are from Georgia, where masks are not required. He was very rude and threatening about masks. We do not need to know about his health issues when we walk into a restaurant. We would have been more than happy to comply with the restaurants policies if the person at the front would have been more polite. We happily ate outside to get away from him.

Good food and cold beer 🍺. Burgers are great and Stromboli is more than one person can eat.

My wife and I ordered takeout in the early evening on a Saturday. I selected spaghetti with a side salad; she ordered a large garden salad. My portion was small and the sauce was thin. The bread was reminiscent of baked pretzel dough, and it was just tossed on top of the spaghetti. Her salad was lettuce with two slices each of tomato and cucumber. The onion, black olives and shredded mozzarella were more plentiful. My side salad had roughly the same distribution of vegetables as her large salad.

The burgers here are great. Good size and quality for the price. The family next to us had the pizza and recommended it. I thought the crust was too done for my preference, it looked burnt, but the toppings went close to the edge so it mightnot matter. The staff weren't wearing masks, which was a little uncomfortable. Everywhere else in town seems to have them. Wait staff are friendly. We'd go again.

I would not recommend this place. It had been a couple of years since we had eaten at Anthony's. That was an unpleasant experience where we cancelled our order and walked out. We decided to get them another try. The only thing hot in our order was the cheese sticks. The two separate dishes we ordered was like warm at best. My husband's had a wad of ricotta cheese dumped into the middle of his dish and not cook with the food. The waitress forgot to bring our salads and we had to ask for them after she had brought out the food.

Terrible experience! We were looking forward to a nice lunch after a long morning of tubing with our kids. Upon arriving on the porch area, we were not acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. We finally asked the hostess if we could seat ourselves. She said a table would have to be cleaned. We waited another 5 minutes for this to happen. Once we sat down, she took our drink order and I asked for a tap menu. It never came. Another 10 minutes of sitting with all no server even acknowledging us, we left with hungry kids, and a rude hostess. We are pretty easy to please people and were surprised at the complete lack of even the most basic ofcourtesies. We ended up at The Snack Shack down the street, where the service was amazing and the food delicious!

My friends and I ate at Anthony’s today and it was AMAZING. We also had an AMAZING waitress named Crystal who took care of us all night and made sure we had everything we needed!!

This place is awesome!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food! Our server Crystal was amazing and gave us a great experience! She told us all about the town and where to go! The food we ordered was tasty and all staff were friendly with great vibes!! Go check them out!! You will be happy you did!!!

I liked the spacious private parking and the outdoor dining option, but past that.....well, they were understaffed and there was discussion about which of the waitstaff would be willing to take our order. We had the large appetizer sampler special and was told, when asked, it would adequately serve a family of 5. It didn't, but the appetizer was tasty. We ordered two pizzas, one Hawaiian and one "supreme" type. It took a l o n g time to get them and once they arrived, all the toppings were in the center of the pizza and one side of the pizza was scorched black. While dining, two separate patrons came in with their dogs to dine. Is that a thing now? I love my dog, but I don't take her to dine with us because there would be tiny little brown hairs flying around everywhere. Yuck. I'm rating it a 4, maybe it should be a 3....service wasn't great either. I'd focus on the staffing issue and that would probably solve most of the issues.

I have been here several times, and it never disappoints. Everything I've ordered has been fantastic. Try the beet and goat cheese pasta!!!

Great food and great service. Did a great job with distancing and making us feel safe while eating great food! Definitely coming back!

Nice place with friendly staff. The bar tender was super friendly got a town map out and told us everything around the area. The AC was not on but they had fans so after we got used to the temp it was fine. Nice beer selection. We did not eat just had a couple drinks. They had a patio where you could bring your dog.
